Covenant Hospice is proud to announce that the 10th annual Mask Parade and Gala far exceeded its goal by raising $100,000 in net revenue! More than 700 guests filled the ballroom which was decorated in vintage Hollywood with beautiful decorations inspired by classic films. SolShine featuring Geoff McBride from The Voice performed and had the crowd out on the dance floor. Congressman Steve Southerland showed off his auctioneer talents during our live auction which raised $25,000. In addition to the Live Auction, our silent auction displayed creative masks from both local artists and celebrities.
Plans for the 11th annual Mask Parade and Gala are already underway, so get ready for another meaningful event this time next year!
Words alone cannot explain how fantastic this event was, so please visit http://www.flickr.com/photos/covenanthospice/ to see the pictures provided by Ocean Jewel’s Images. Thank you again to all of our supporters!
Proceeds from this event stay in Bay and Gulf County to help fund the unfunded and under-funded programs of Covenant Hospice. These programs include Bereavement, Chaplain Services, Children's Support and Volunteer Services. Our mission is to enable patients to live as fully and comfortably as possible during the end of their lives.
